Reshma Saujani is the Founder and CEO of Girls Who Code and was the first Indian American woman to run for U.S. Congress in 2010. While campaigning, Reshma recognized the wide gender gap in computer classes across the nation.  

 

To date, Girls Who Code has served over 450,000 girls, with half coming from underserved communities.

Julie Payette is a Canadian Astronaut and Engineer who was named the 29th Governor-General of Canada (2017-21). From 2000-2007 she served as the Canadian Space Agency’s Chief Astronaut and joined the space shuttle Endeavour. In 2010, she received the Officer of the Order of Canada, and honorary doctorates from several Canadian universities.
