November 2, 2021

Thanks to those of you who that attended our “Game-Changing Leadership” panel last week.  It’s important to think about what this means to you and what the face of leadership looks like moving forward.  What we have learned from our panel discussion is that game-changing leadership is a mind-shift that produces maximum impact. In order to achieve this, we need a toolbox for managers to equip them for success. Growth in our future is not inconsequential, it is exponential. In many cases we need to completely transform our mindsets rather than refresh outdated models. Being intentional to evolve in our human skills while maintaining high standards through change and reinvention will be the critical game-changer as the industry landscape evolves. Please access the WE program and join us as we grow together, women and men united to expand the industry.

Thanks again to our Game-Changing Leadership panelists: Dave Doherty, Digi-Key; Heather Fulara, Newark/Avnet, Jim Kaplan, Cornell Dubilier, and Melanie Pizzey, TTI for your insights and engaging discussion!

WE Insight

Valuing voices is about listening, considering alternative perspectives, and encouragement of ideas. It is not about being in agreement. Despite differences, valuing voices offers validation, which can be one of the most inexpensive and effective methods for talent retention.

“WE have to create the space to always be asking our employees what they need and for them to be constantly be asking that of themselves.”

– Heather Fulara, Newark/Avnet

Make it a great week!
