“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” – Edith Lovejoy Pierce
Welcome to 2022 and the first WE Weekly of the New Year! The year ahead is filled with opportunity for growing, developing, mentoring, volunteering, sponsoring, networking and celebrating our community. Women in Electronics is well positioned to begin writing the first chapter of 2022 with a strong calendar of activities.
The theme for our Growth & Development Program this year is Growing Forward, where we will focus on four quarterly themes: Creativity, Communication, Confidence, and Conflict Resolution & Adaptability. The content of the WE Webinars, Chapter Meetings, and Book Club will align collaboratively within each quarterly theme.
Q1 EVENTS:
January 11 at 8am PT: Professional Growth “Living on the Other Side of Fear”
January 18 at 8am PT: Life Balance “Nutrition as an Offense”
February 3 at 8am PT: Professional Growth “Creating and Maintaining Meaningful Relationships”
February 23 at 8am PT: Q1 Book Club “The 7 Gems of Intercultural Creativity”
February TBA: Life Balance “Exercise Hacks for Busy Working Professionals”
March 10 at 8am PT: Professional Growth “The Power of Potential: Problem Solving Through a Mindset of Positivity”
March TBA: Life Balance “Nurturing Your Skin at All Ages”
March 24 at 9am PT: Q1 2022 Chapter Meeting “Seeing the World Through a Creative Lens”
This quarter will offer unique opportunities to learn and expand our creativity skills. Please take advantage of the scheduled quarterly events! And remember to watch the recordings if you miss the live Leadership Growth & Development Webinars.
