Bridgit Mendler, a former Disney TV star, seemingly disappeared from the public eye only to pursue a PhD from MIT’s Center for Constructive Communications and Social Machines Group. Recently, she announced her Space Startup, Northwood Space, with 6.3 million in Seed Funding.  

 

The company is creating infrastructure to accelerate mass adoption of satellite technology to securely send data to and from space.
